Day 01: Reach Guwahati
On reaching Guwahati, our representative will assist you to check-in at a hotel. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 02: Guwahati/ Kaziranga
On Day 2, you can visit the famous Kamakhya temple. After paying homage to the Goddess Kamakhya, we will visit Assam State Museum and Nabagraha temple in the afternoon. Post lunch, we will take a drive to the scenic Kaziranga. There, you will check-in at the Jungle resort. Overnight stay will be at the resort.
Day 03: In Kaziranga
In the morning, you will set out to explore the natural beauty of the jungle on an elephant. You can hire guides to help you through the park. You can engage in bird-watching also. You can later visit the Assamese village to seek silk-worm rearing and also make your way through the Tea Gardens that Aassam is famous for. In the evening, you can enjoy the film shows on wildlife that are arranged at the tourist lodges. Overnight stay will be at Kaziranga.
Day 04: Kaziranga - Shillong
On day 04, you will drive to Shillong. After reaching, you can enjoy the local area. Also, you can enjoy water sports like boating, sailing, and water skiing. In the afternoon, you can go for a picnic lunch along the Umiam Lake. Later, visit the villages and indulge in sightseeing the Elephant falls, Sweet falls and Spread Eagle falls. Overnight stay will be at a Shillong hotel.
Day 05: Shillong - Cherrapunji - Shilong
On Day 05, after breakfast, you will drive to Cherrapunji. This place is popular for receiving the highest rainfall in the world. Go for some cave exploration in the area. You can also go exploring the Orange Grooves, which are the main attraction of this region. Post lunch, you can go for Nohkalikai Falls, situated 5 km from Cherrapunji. Return to Shillong for the overnight stay.
Day 06: Shillong
On Day 06 of the tour, you will get up early in the morning to visit the Ward Lake and Hydari Lake. You can also visit the nearby village and enjoy the local attractions. Understand the local culture and lifestyle. In the evening, you will drive back to Guwahati. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Guwahati.
Day 07: Departure
This will be the last day of the tour. On this day you will depart for your onward destination.
