Day 01: Reach Leh
Our representative will warmly welcome you on your arrival at the Leh Airport. You will be transferred to a hotel where you can take rest. In the afternoon, after a delicious lunch, you will be taken to visit Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, and then on a stroll through Leh Bazaar. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 02: In Leh
Day 2 will start with a visit to Indus Valley Monastery. There, you will get to learn about the culture and history of this place. Soon afterwards, you can enjoy attractions like Thiksey, Shey and Hemis. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 03: Leh - Likir - Leh
After breakfast, your day will start with a drive to Likir. You will drive along the Indus River visiting Hall of Fame (which has a museum of the Kargil War memorabilia), Pathar Sahib Gurdwara and meeting the Sangam of Zanskar and Indus rivers near Nimu and Magnetic Hill (where cars defy gravity). Further, you can visit Likir in Sham Valley of West Ladakh. Return to Leh by evening. Overnight stay will be at the Hotel in Leh.
Day 04: Leh - Ladakh - Leh
Day 4 will take you to Ladakh. Make an early start and travel east of Leh via Chang-la Mountain Pass to Pangong Lake. Reach up to the shore of the lake and the first village, Lukung. You will enjoy the changing hues of the waters of the lovely Pangong Lake. On your way back to Leh, you will be able to spot marmots and kiang. You will reach Leh by evening. Overnight stay will be at the Hotel.
Day 05: Leh - Khardung La - Nubra Valley
Today, you will drive up to Khardung La, situated at 18380 ft. This is known for being the highest motorable road not only in India but in the world. Further, you will drive to Nubra Valley. Visit Diskit, Hunder villages and the white sand dunes and take a camel safari on the double humped Bactrian Camels (extra cost). Overnight stay will be at the deluxe camps / guest-house at Nubra Valley.
Day 06: Nubra Valley - Leh
In the morning, you will go exploring Diskit monastery and visit the Maitreya Buddha complex and then drive back to Leh, passing Khardung La once again. You can take rest in the hotel. In the late afternoon, you can go for a last minute shopping in Leh Bazaar. Overnight stay will be at the Hotel.
Day 07: Departure
In the morning, after checking out from the hotel, you will be transferred to Leh airport to board the morning flight to New Delhi or to your onward destination.
